Meet 24 year old digital content creator, fashion blogger and media strategist Fred Anyona, from Nairobi Kenya.

” For those three things that I get up to, I would say that blogging was where it all started for me. I have always been interested in the fashion scene, probably because my mum used to be so particular about what I was wearing, so I learnt to be meticulous and precise fashion wise from her. The scene locally is great as people are embracing diversity and there is also awareness about different designers and fashion professions. As far as digital marketing goes, I think I will be doing this for a long time going forward.

I listen to very different kinds of music like Indy and alternative music, but recently started listening to more trapespecially from Post Malone. My favorite artistes are Post as I mentioned, and a band called Haim. In Kenya I really like Sauti Sol, more so their earlier projects. I do beleive in them refining their sound as they grow and evolve, as with any other discipline like photography and design. People do change.

My favorite fashion brands at the moment are Bongosawa, Kipato unbranded for jewellery, Pink Savannah and One Hundred Years. The Made in Kenya store at the Alchemist where all these brands and more are hosted there.

If I was stuck on an island I’d probably have no one around as I tend to be an ambivert, that is in between an introvert and extrovert, so I like being alone. However, I think I’d have someone with me, won’t say who 🙂 free internet and food, potatoes because I really really like them.

In another life I would be a chef, because I have always loved cooking!” #FacesofAlchemist
